Clicking on surls in firefox for linux doesn’t open Second Life and teleport you to the location. For this to you have to make several manual configurations of firefox. The first step is to open the configuration into, this is done by opeing the url about:config Here toy have to add a new protocoll handler.

Right click and select new > string.

The name should be ”network.protocol-handler.app.secondlife” and the value the path of your second life binary in my case ”/home/balp/secondlife/secondlife”

The next step is to tell firefox to use secondlife protocoll with an extreanal application add one more key, this of the type booles, e.g. right click, new > boolean.

This one should bet the name ”network.protocol-handler.external.secondlife” and the value ”True”

Now only restart firefox and Surls should work.
